| Deonna Nicole Dieter | Untrustworthy people are everywhere and you should be especially cautious with anyone you meet on the Web. Nicole responded to an ad we ran on Craig's List in November of 2008 for a Sales Person. We did a "cursory" check of references, but generally all you can find out is that they were actually employed at a facility and very little else in is litigous age. Here's what I KNOW and can PROVE. Nicole is a very smart, well spoken and attractive lady. She could easily be making over $200k as a sales representative, if she were to apply her talents in a legitimate manner. Some poeple prefer to lie, even when telling the truth would get them so much further. Nicole could not provide a copy of a current drivers license during her initial interview. She had left it "conveniently" at home. She did later "phone in" the drivers license number, but we were never able to make a copy for our records. We are required to verify or obtain some proof of citizenship in Arizona. Nicole is ALL ABOUT convenience. Nicole "lost" (sold?) a brand new company cell phone within two weeks of starting. In some circles, cellphones are just "easy money". Being reachable and/or accessible didn't seem to fit her plans. She was only reachable by email during the day. She COULD NOT be reached by phone. The phone number we had for her just rolled to a "generic" voicemail; 100% of the time. Nicole failed to appear at a professional conference for which we had paid $2500. She was to be our "Marketing Rep" at this function and was to bring all of our literature and product information. Nicole never showed up. We lost our $2500 table to a competitor. Very unreliable person. Nicole was to attend another professional conference in Palm Springs on (or immediately after) Superbowl Weekend. While she DID make hotel and flight arrangments for herself and her husband, she did NOT register for the conference. She used a company credit card for those charges. She resigned shortly afterwards which makes me wonder if that was planned and/or intentional. Nicole logged exactly 3 sales calls during her 6 weeks with us. When we indicated that she would have to start showing up for work in our office so that we could supervise her activities more closely, she resigned. Nicole sent an email of resignation on 1/17/09 stating that she would be Fedexing her company laptop and credit card back to us (see below). Monday came, no laptop. Tuesday came, no laptop. I emailed her indicating that I wanted the "tracking number" and was told she had changed her mind and sent it USPS. Friday (5 days) came with no laptop. We've opted to file a report with the Maricopa County Sheriff's department (#09-014361). We did finally get the laptop back, but only after having the Sheriff's department stop by her place of residence. We never did receive the credit card, but we did cancel it. It is still useful to her as a "second piece of ID" if you're trying to cash a bad check or run some other scam. Nicole's Resignation Email: Thank you for this opportunity you both have given me, and thank you for making it very easy to walk away from. I wish you both great successes now and in the future. I am going to FedEx to you the laptop, marketing materials, and credit card. I believe that's all, but if I have forgotten anything please let me know. I need to cancel the reservations for Palm Springs. It said that they are non-refundable but I will let them know the situation and see what they can do. Worst case scenario, I will ask them to give you a credit for future travel on you part I had purchased and inkjet printer, paper, ink and supplies for the meeting on Friday at Wal-mart totaling about $100 in charges. I will return what I can have it credited back to the card as well. I will also put in a cancellation request for my membership with www.marketing.org. You will be copied on that as well. It will all be shipped by Monday. Thank you.Nicole Dieter Account Executive In all fairness, we DID give Nicole a very good reason to leave. We told her that she had to start coming in to the office to work. Clearly, this was way out of line on our part and blantantly unreasonable, or, to use Nicole's words, "abusive". Nicole has a whole host of court cases that make for some very interesting reading. We did an in depth investigation after getting scammed, just to make sure we weren't dealing with an amateur. Here's a partial listing: Case Number: S-0300-CV-20080369 Case Category: Civil Case Title: BANK OF AMERICA V KIDDIE KAMPU Court: Coconino County Superior Judge: HONORABLE CHARLES D ADAMS Filing Date: 05/19/2008 Disposition Date: 11/19/2008 This is a funny one. We were told that Nicole sold HER Day Care business for a BUNCH of money. Seems that Bank of America had a different opinion. We thought it was odd that our "Account Executive" was getting her checks cashed at a "Pay Day Loan" shop. Now we realize that she was unable to get a checking account. 1 DEONNA DIETER 01/27/1979 FLAGSTAFF, AZ 86004 Flagstaff Municipal M-0341-TR-2005002517 2 DEONNA DIETER Coconino County Superior S-0300-CV-20080369 3 DEONNA N DIETER FLAGSTAFF, AZ 86004 Flagstaff Justice J-0301-CV-2006000325 4 DEONNA N DIETER FLAGSTAFF, AZ 86004 Flagstaff Justice J-0301-CV-2008000624 5 DEONNA NICOLE DIETER 01/27/1979 FLAGSTAFF, AZ 86001 Flagstaff Municipal M-0341-TR-2006006322 1 NICOLE DIETER FLAGSTAFF, AZ 86001 Flagstaff Justice J-0301-CV-2007001442 2 NICOLE DIETER FLAGSTAFF, AZ 86001 Flagstaff Justice J-0301-CV-2007001554 3 NICOLE DIETER Flagstaff Justice J-0301-CV-2007002013 4 NICOLE DIETER FLAGSTAFF, AZ 86004 Coconino County Superior S-0300-CV-20070845 When you're 30 years old and been taken to court 8 times (AT LEAST), you're kinda flakey. Here's another bad sign. When a Mother of 3 is paying Child Support (which suggests that she has lost custody of her children), I think that's a real good indication of their moral fiber. Is it wrong to judge people that way? Not when they've demonstrated a lack of regard for everyone around them. What do you suppose you have to do to actually have the courts take your children away from you? It has to be something really "skanky". |
